if I just want to look? Yes, your profile on the ladies
site grants you the privilege to view the men's site.
Your profile code will be on your outgoing e-mail and
will also keep your e-mail account private.
4. Is a photo really necessary for my profile?
As they say, "It's worth a thousand words!"
Our studies have shown that profiles with photos receive
more than five times the response as non-photo profiles.
We strongly recommend taking your time and uploading a
quality photo of yourself. It should be
one that you are proud to show. Shirts (tops) without
a detailed pattern look the best. Use a picture that really
shows your face well. Often times, people use a photo
that was taken too far away. Since your photo can be up
to 3 inches wide, you have a couple of options (if you
know how to use Adobe Photoshop). You may always just
use a simple "head shot." Or, you could make
a split-photo that has the top half of the picture a "head
shot" and the bottom picture could be one of the
following: full-body, waist up, sports picture, action
shot, etc. This could also be split left and right.

Do you have any suggestions for better results? Make
sure you tell your potential mate about what you are looking
for in a person, rather than just more about yourself.
It is important for the person to learn about you, but
they need to know if they fit your idea of a perfect mate.
6. Can I change my profile or photo after I submit
it for the first time? Yes!

How large of a photo can be uploaded?
Your photo can be up to 3 inches wide.

Why do I need a "user name" on my profile? This
is the name you will go by at our site. This is to protect
your identity. It also helps us with database management.
Your user name will also be used each time you log in.
A User Name IS REQUIRED!

How does the search function work?
A)Click on "member log in"
B) Enter your "user name"
C) Enter your password
D) Click "OK"
E) Choose to "view a random member" or "do
a search."
F) When you click on "search," you will be given
choices to focus your search.
G) Leaving the dropdown menus at "No preference"
will greatly broaden your choices. USE the "CTRL"
button to select more than one option for each preference.
H) Click on "Find" at the bottom of the form.
I) You will then see the list of members who fit your
search requirements. Those with a camera icon next to
their user name have included a photo with their profile.
J) Click on your choice and a new window will open with
that person's profile. If you want to narrow your search,
or redefine your preferences, click the "RETURN"
button until you get to the page where you make your selections.
Make further preferences or alter a search category such
as "age".
K) Leave a message on the member's page of your choice.

How do I know when someone wants to contact me?
A potential mate will type a message at the bottom
of your profile and send it to you via e-mail.
The message will have a link that goes directly to their
profile. When you use that link to send a return message,
they will receive that message via their e-mail. You communicate
back and forth in this manner.

Do I need to type in my e-mail address in the "office
use" area of my profile?
YES! It will not be seen by anyone except our staff.
If your e-mail is not valid, your profile will not
work! Your password will be sent to your e-mail address.
Attention AOL users: Your AOL screen name will
not work as your e-mail address. All e-mail addresses
must have an "@" sign.
